Hi and thanks for checking out my blog. Need inspiration...gotta love the Catalogue! Page 123 was my inspiration for this Tasteful Touches good things in life card, a great way to celebrate a good friend.
While the Catalogue does not have instructions it doesn't have to be exactly the same and are easily copied. All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;
- Start with card base, A4 Night of Navy cut in half landscape at 14.9 cm and fold in half
- First layer cut to 10 x 14.4 cm - In Good Taste DSP attach with Stampin' Seal
- Stamp flower and rough cut out with paper snips, shape by rubbing on Stamparatus foam with take your pick tool
- Stamp sentiment on In Good Taste DSP and cut out with stitched frame die
- Attach label with dimensionals
- Attach flowers with Stampin' Seal partly under label
- Attach In Good Taste leaf elements with liquid glue partly under flowers and label, done!
Inside I have used sentiment from the Lovely You stamp set and feather from Tasteful Touches stamp set using Black and Pineapple Punch ink to finish.

Once you get started you will find the ideas flow and your hooked, a bit like eating something you love - for me that's Maltesers once I start it's hard to stop eating them, so yummy!
For the above card all available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;
- Start with card base, A4 Whisper White cut in half portrait at 10.5 cm and fold in half
- First layer cut to 10 x 14.4 cm and cut out middle with Stitched So Sweetly die, attach with Stampin' seal
- Stamp flower using Stazon ink, colour with blend markers and rough cut out with paper snips,
- Shape flower by rubbing on Stamparatus foam with take your pick tool
- Stamp sentiment on In Good Taste DSP and cut out with stitched frame die
- Cut 1cm strips cardstock, attach with Stampin' Seal on angle and trim to card size
- Attach label with dimensionals
- Attach flower with dimensionals partly over label, I doubled the dimensionals on flower to add height
- Attach In Good Taste leaf elements with liquid glue partly under flower and label, done!
Inside
I have used sentiment from the Positive Thoughts stamp set and leaves from
Tasteful Touches stamp set using Rococo Rose and Shaded Spruce ink to
finish. Note I used the Stamparatus to stamp image a couple of times which give a more darker defined sentiment.
The Tasteful Touches Bundle additionally inspires creativity and is very versatile.
