I am married with two girls and live in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria, Australia.
My husband runs his own pest control business for which I do the paperwork and I work part time as an accounts assistant. Our two girls will both be in High School next year and as a family we love to travel.
I have always been creative over the years and enjoyed doing bead jewellery, bead decorations, cross stitch, long stitch, card making and hardanger to name a few crafts. Then my Mum and I discovered scrapbooking and memory keeping, well that was it we were hooked! My Mum has since passed away but left me with lots of wonderful memories by way of family scrapbook albums and I continue to scrapbook our family memories while creating cards and gift boxes for those special presents.
I believe giving and sending cards is going to be around for a long time and a hand made card is even more special, along with being easy to do. Every year I make hand made Christmas tree decorations as presents for family in a handmade gift box with a card and they are more special to those that receive them then something purchased. With over 30 years of making different things every year my family and relatives Christmas trees are purely decorated with hand made decorations which is lovely because I know they are cherished.
This year I have branched out to wood working but craft supplies are still good, the candle above I have used the Stampin' Up Striped Burlap Trim and the Boxwood Wreath Embellishment, both past Christmas products. Plus of course there will be a hand made gift tag!
