Hi and thanks for checking out my blog. Are you like me and spend hours looking on Pinterest or Facebook for design ideas? I saw a card similar to this one just can't remember where as there are thousands of ideas on the media platforms.
The Forever Greenery DSP and Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty paper is so easy to create with and looks stunning! All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;
- Start with card base, A4 Whisper White cut in half landscape at 14.9 cm and fold in half
- Cut large strip of solid card stock 6.5 cm x 14.4 cm
- Cut large strip of DSP 6 cm x 13.9 cm
- Cut strip of solid card stock 3 cm x 10.5 cm
- Stamp sentiment on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with long straight stitched frame die
- Attach first and second large strips with Stampin' seal
- Attach Forever Gold Laser-Cut fern with liquid glue
- Attach solid cardstock strip with Stampin' seal over little bit of fern stem
- Attach sentiment with dimensionals
- Add a couple of Gilded Gems either side on sentiment as shown below in close up and your done!
I love the stitched dies as they add a little extra detail and the products in the Forever Greenery Product Suit, check out the suit by clicking HERE. I have create a few cards using these products, you can see them in my Card Gallery under the Inspiration menu or by clicking HERE.
You may think this card is for an Anniversary or Wedding saying 'Love & laughter forever after' but instead 'to a friend that makes me smile' is the sentiment inside from the same Forever Fern Stamp set.
Anyway hope you liked this design, remember you can always CASE it and change colours or DSP to what you like as it is just to give you some inspiration. Supplies below are all that were used and remember some are only one of purchases or you may have alternative tools you can use. Thanks again for visiting and have a creative good time!
