Band Together Beautiful

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog.  This week I was reflecting on the current times we are living in and created a card using the Band Together Bundle.  Having good friends is a beautiful thing while me may not be able to catch up with many in person we are still grateful for our friendships.

The card base is Old Olive with flower image stamped using both Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Ink on Whisper White.  The flower is then cut out roughly and coloured with the matching blend markers.  I attached dimensionals to the main top flower and snail adhesive to the rest and place on my first layer cardstock measuring 14.4 x 10 cm.  The close up below shows the layer created as you can see the flower at top is raised while the stem and leafs of flower are flat.  The Mint Macaron die cut is then attached with liquid glue, some twine is wrapped around it all before final label layer is added with dimensionals.  The sentiment was stamped using the Stamparatus in order to stamp using Pink Pirouette a few times as this is a very light color and cut out with the die in the bundle.

Finished off front with various sizes of 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots and tied twine in a bow.  This beautiful versatile bundle is on the retiring list which means you have until 2nd June to purchase.  I have created a few card using this bundle and I used page 121 of the current Annual Catalogue to CASE the design.

Inside I have kept it simple using words and image from the same stamp set in Old Olive ink to match my card base.
