Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop September

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Monthly Team Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.  My idea was to experiment with the foam adhesive sheets and have a play with the Playful Alphabet Dies.  We often shorten Christmas with 'Xmas' so I combined the two products to create this card which I enjoyed doing.

All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;

  • Start with card base, A4 Whisper White cut in half portrait at 10.5 cm and fold in half
  • First layer cut to 10 x 14.4 - attach with Stampin' Seal
  • Stamp sentiment on Whisper White cardstock and cut with hexagon die
  • Cut DSP circle using stitched die - attach sentiment to circle with dimensionals, attach to card with Stampin' Seal
  • Whisper White cardstock with stamp image is 3 x 6.2 cm, cut first or stamp image then cut to size, does not need to be exact its how you like it to look - colour image to your liking
  • Cut DSP rectangle a little larger, I have made mine 7.2 x 4.2 cm, cut smaller if you like thinner border - attach image with dimensionals, attach to card with Stampin' Seal
  • Cut 3cm wide strip of foam adhesive, cut same size of DSP, peel adhesive off one side of foam strip and stick DSP to it.
  • Cut DSP foam adhesive with dies, shown below is strip I cut my XMAS from and you then peel backing off adhesive foam and adhere to card.

  •  Finish with a few Playing with Patterns Resin Dots or other embellishments of your choice.

Above is close up of XMAS where you can see the foam adhesive has given this DSP extra depth and enabled it to be easily adhered.  Foam adhesive can be used with any DSP or cardstock and cut with scissors or open dies, the possibilities are endless, give it a go!

I love the Playful Alphabet Dies as well, you could make a personal card with someone's name, create a monogram or add slag like G'DAY and you can shop for your set by clicking here.

Inside it is simple sentiment from Wrapped In Christmas Stamp set and present image in Merry Merlot ink from the Little Treats Stamp set.
