Christmas Wrapped Up!

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog.  Wow! I love these round tins, a quick and fantastic way to wrap up Christmas gift or treats.  These tins come in packs of 4, measure 9.5 x 3.2 cm, have a window 7.6 cm in size and are food safe.  I've wrapped up a little hand made gift but you could put some handmade fruit cake in it, chocolate or lollies as little Christmas gifts for someone special.

All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;
  •  Fill tin with required item - done prior to decorating as banner is attached to tin lid over the top of DSP strip so it cannot be removed to fill tin
  • Cut strip of DSP 12 x 1 1/2" wide, wrap around tin and join ends with Stampin' Seal
  • Tie ribbon around strip of DSP, can adhere with Stampin' Seal to prevent it sliding when bow tied
  •  Stamp leaf image on Whisper White cardstock and roughly cut out, note these are from retired stamp set Banners For Christmas, could use Joyful Holly or Peaceful Boughs stamp sets if looking for alternative
  • Adhere leaf image with Stampin' Seal or Dimensionals
  • Cut strip of cardstock 3/4" wide and 4 1/2" long, cut ends with Banner Pick a Punch
  • Stamp and emboss with white the sentiment in middle of banner strip
  • Fold banner and adhere to lid over the top of other decorations, note you can do this last if tin not yet filled

The Banners Pick a Punch is a new product which is six punches in one!  Very versatile and punches 1/2", 3/4" and 1" (1.3 cm, 1.9 cm, 2.5 cm) widths strips of any length.

The Stampin' Up! Round Tins are a very fancy way to wrap up a little gift and makes your gift look nicer than just plain gift wrapping.  You can decorate it as fancy as you like or keep it simple by just stamping image on circle tag and wrap ribbon around.  Below you can see a little 3D present I made with my scroll saw out of wood, not perfect as I am only learning but it is handmade and I always remember my parents saying it's the thought that counts not the gift.  Anyway thanks again for visiting and have a creative good time!
