Hi and thanks for checking out my blog. This week we have another one for the guys, similar to the last one I did and if you missed that one click HERE to check it out. Base card this time is Pretty Peacock and the Best Dressed DSP paper pack which although it has a lot of designs for girls being double sided means some patterns are neutral and suit male cards.
I have used matching Pretty Peacock ink to stamp the images and Happy Birthday on Whisper White and then cut out with stitched dies. I like the stitched dies as they add a nice frame effect to the cardstock as show in close up below. The Well Dressed DSP is the second layer cut at 14.4cm x 10cm and Mint Macaron makes a third layer cut at 6cm x 10cm. The Pretty Peacock linen ribbon is scalloped and is attached using snail adhesive, I love this ribbon and it comes in Purple Posy, Rococo Rose and Terracotta Tile. I finished off by adding some of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots of various sizes for a little bling!
Inside I have used the words from the same stamp set as the Happy Birthday which is the Special Celebrations Stamp and hat from Well Dressed Stamp set, all in Pretty Peacock ink. Easy and simple to finish the inside nicely.
