Happy Birthday To You

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog.  Today we have a beautiful cake to help celebrate the up coming Birthday of our Daughter Amy.

The colour combinations are Petal Pink, Seaside Spray, Coastal Cabana and Emerald Envy to decorate the lovely detailed flowers on the cake.  The stamp set Happy Birthday To You is still available in the Sale-A-Bration until 31st March and you can purchase coordinating Birthday dies that enable cake and flowers to be easily cut out.

The following used Purple Posy cardstock as background and one flower in bottom left corner.  The die cuts a group of three flowers but these were cut apart making an individual one and two used on the first card.  These cards were created by Amy with my help and if the 'Happy Birthday' looks like it has a shadow it does!  When originally stamped no enough ink was applied so the letters did not all show correctly but instead of scrapping the whole thing, fix was to stamp on white cardstock, cut out with the Paper Snips and put over the top of first stamp with mini dimensionals.  Clever thinking Amy, an easy fix which in fact created a great effect and really makes the Happy Birthday pop!

Inside the verse is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and some sprinkles from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set finishes it off.

The Peaceful Moments stamp set is one of my must have type stamp sets.  As you can see it has many wonderful Phrases and Saying which suit a variety of occasions. These type of stamps never go out of fashion and can be used over and over again.  A lot of the label die additionally suit the heading like 'Happy Birthday' or 'Thank You'.  If you live in Australia and would like to purchase this stamp set click on the picture.

Thanks again for visiting and have a creative good time!
