Hi and thanks for checking out my blog. A special card that suits my current circumstances, you may have missed my regular blog last week however the recent passing of my Dad has made it difficult to keep up with everything. My Dad was a special person, loved travel and his garden and will be missed.
This card comes from the catalogue on page 123, I just made it portrait orientation not landscape. All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;
- Start with card base, A4 Whisper White cut in half portrait at 10.5 cm and fold in half
- First layer cut to 10 x 14.4 cm
- Strip layer cut to 5 x 10 cm
- Stamp leave on first layer just below where you would like the strip to be positioned
- Stamp flower using stays on ink, colour with markers, cut out and shape a little
- Stamp sentiment on DSP and cut with die
- Attached first layer and strip with Stampin' Seal
- Cut ribbon to size and attached with Stampin' Seal+
- Attach flower with dimensionals then attach sentiment with dimensionals slightly over lapping flower
- Attach wood elements with liquid glue to finish
Inside I have used the sentiment 'your kindness is so loved' which is a lovely script writing and reflects the lovely kindness and caring I have received in regards to my Dad passing.
