Lovely Label Cherished Friend

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog.  Loving the new products and one I didn't show you was the Lovely Label Pick A Punch, such a versatile tool.


This punch enables you to create 6 labels!  There are 2 styles with three widths - 1" (2.5cm), 3/4" (1.9cm) and 1/2" (3.8cm) and the length can be what you choose. 


All available products used are shown at the end of the post and the process of putting it together is as follows;

  • Start with card base, A4 Night of Navy cut in half landscape at 14.9 cm and fold in half
  • First layer cut to 9 x 14.9 cm - 2020-2022 In Color 6" x 6" DSP, don't attach to card base yet
  • Vellum Card Stock - cut to size of Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty paper panel
  • Adhere Forever Gold Laser-cut panel to Vellum using fine tip glue pen
  • Adhere Vellum to first layer with snail adhesive
  • Run snail adhesive along trim then place over the top of these two layers, folding behind DSP and attach to card base using snail adhesive
  • Cut Whisper White strip, 2.5cm wide and stamp sentiment with Night of Navy ink
  • Cut end with punch, trim to desired length and cut other end with punch
  • Gently rub Garden Green Ink around sides of label with sponge
  • Attached over the trim using dimensionals
  • Add couple of 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to either end of label to finish, quick and easy!


I maybe used a little to much glue as it when over onto the vellum and became visible but think it adds highlights to solid leaves.  Adding a little ink around the label edge with a sponge also gives it more dimension but it can be left white just depends on what you like.

Inside I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely You Stamp set with Night of Navy Ink and a couple of leaves with Garden Green Ink to complete.  If you love the look of the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper check out a previous card I made using it by clicking HERE.
