Merry Christmas

Hi and thanks for checking out my blog.  Christmas is creeping ever so close, my kids have started their count down and I created one more Christmas card to send.  Today I mixed one old with new, the silver foil snowflake behind the bauble is no longer available however it would look equally nice to use the Stitched Star Dies with some gold foil cardstock.
My card bases are 14.9 x 21cm scored in half and this makes the card front layer 14.5 x 10cm.  Each of the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper strip panels are 4 x 14cm which are put on either side of the card front to leave a gap in the middle.  Instead of stamping a sentiment on the front I used the Very Vanilla/Copper 1/2" (1.3cm) Classic Weave Ribbon which matched my Very Vanilla cardstock base and used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to attach it.

The silver foil snowflake I have attached using a dimensional along with the Christmas babble to give it a raised effect.  The babble from the Lots of Cheer stamp set was stamped on Whisper White cardstock, coloured in and cut out using the paper snips which are excellent scissors for cutting small areas.
The inside of this card I did a little different because I had a strip left over from the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper card front layer, this I cut again in half and added to either side of the inside of the card.  The saying is from the same stamp set Lots of Cheer which makes it easy, one stamp set to make a complete card.
This is a very simple but elegant card to make and if you need any further details please don't hesitate to ask me. If you live in Australia simply click on any of the products below that I used in the making of this cards and you can purchase to make your own, it's that easy.
